Interaction Design Project for IAT334

Centered around Ohanacare, a senior care service provider based in Vancouver, our primary goal during this seven-week project was to develop a mobile platform where seniors could easily access companion care service through a mobile application. We dedicated our effort to comprehending the needs of seniors, delving into understanding their pain points and ultimately crafting a tailored solution.

Design Solution - Main Features

Medical Assistance
connecting Personal Health Number (PHN) to their list of medications, helping them keep track of their dosage and their instructions with reminders
Appointments
in-app calendar and a to-do list that keeps track of their appointments and set reminders for their daily tasks
Assistance
connecting seniors to ‘helpers’ (assistance) via video/call or chat option in-app
Sync Account
facilitating caregivers or helpers to stay informed and assist seniors effectively in managing medications and appointments​​​​​​​
